WUD-U is a Ghana-born slow fashion brand shaped by sustainability, culture, and craft. We turn wood, leather offcuts, and earth-grown fibers into bold, handcrafted accessories. Every piece carries the marks of the hands that made it and the place it comes from.
Our materials and early craftsmanship begin in Ghana, where tradition, skill, and resourcefulness guide the work. Final assembly and finishing happen in North Carolina, bringing the pieces into everyday life here in the U.S. while keeping their roots intact.
WUD-U grew from a quiet resistance to fast fashion and sameness. We see value where others see waste, and we create wearable art for those who move through the world consciously, confidently, and on their own terms.
More than a brand, WUD-U is about purpose and people. We invest in young artisans, respect the earth, and believe in creating slowly, honestly, and with care.
WUD-U. Dare to be different.

FOUNDER’S NOTE
Hi, I’m Tiwaa, the founder of WUD-U. I started this brand to create accessories that are intentional, bold, and unapologetically authentic.
I work with wood, leather offcuts, and earth-grown fibers because each piece carries a story—imperfect, natural, and full of character. These materials let us honor the earth while transforming what might be discarded into something meaningful.
As a former educator, I mentor young artisans, including some of my former students, passing on skills, sparking fresh ideas, and creating opportunities for growth and independence.
WUD-U is my way of creating with care, fostering community, and showing that luxury can be slow, meaningful, and deeply personal. I hope every item you hold carries a story that feels yours as much as it carries the hands that shaped it
